Just a quickie...
Some friends and I went on Friday night to a place in Lindon called Jump On It and it was the most fun I've had in a while! It's basically a large warehouse with about 50 trampolines all side by side and some along the walls. I seriously felt like a little kid again. I recommend this place for anyone wether you're just a big kid like me or wether you have kids of your own. I won't explain too much more, I'll just include the link to their website, enjoy!!

Jazz-Suns 1/10/08
This is kind of old news, but it happened before I got a blog and I had to add it. Thanks to my boy Phil, who got the tickets, we sat in the 2nd row near the Suns bench at the Jazz-Suns game last month. I went with Phil, Larissa, and Brennen. I've been a season ticket holder with the Jazz for a couple years now and this is the closest I've sat to the court so far. It's amazing! The action is so fast and intense when you're down that close. You can hear the players talking, swearing, and all that good stuff. Plus it's fun to razz the other teams coach and the officials and be close enough that they actually hear you and you know it! Plus you get to see the Jazz Dancers up close and who wouldn't like that! Funny story...there was one dancer who came up the aisle right next to me and she was gorgeous and I even remember telling my friend about her the next day. Funny thing is that I found out she is the cousin of some old friends of mine, the Hooper girls! Who knew!?!?
Even better was that this game was televised nationally on TNT so we got some good face time because where we sat the coach would always walk right in front of us so we'd get some good shots of us on TV. I worked very hard on two big signs to hold up hoping that I'd get on TV for sure! I had a couple camera men come over and record me with my sign, but when I got home and watched the game back I was disappointed to see that they never used the footage on the air! :( Maybe next time!

19-0? Not so fast!!!
NEW YORK GIANTS - 2008 SUPER BOWL CHAMPS!!!
What an absolutely amazing game that was on sunday night. For those of you who don't know me well. I have been a die hard Giants fan since I was 6 years old and my sister bet me a dollar the Broncos would beat the Giants in the 1986 Super Bowl. Well the Giants won making me $1 richer and gaining themselves a fan for life. Hey...we all have our price right! haha
Sunday night was special for me. Sports are a huge part of my life. I love the emotion, passion, and determination that goes into competition that can be found in almost every sport. There really aren't many sports I don't like or follow. I am a very competitive person and it really brings out the best in me.
So when you follow sports so often you truly come to appreciate it when your team wins the Super Bowl because it's so hard to do! It's been 18 years since the Giants last won it and it has been a long wait. So I am for sure soaking this up!
We had a Super Bowl party on sunday with about 15 of our closest friends, all but 2 of them were rooting with me for the Giants. So I had plenty of people to jump around and get crazy with....I might have even taken off my shirt and swung it around my head, but I guess you'll never know if you weren't there! lol
So football season is now over, you can bet though that I will continue to soak this up for as long as possible!
I have to mention one more thing:
Kyle "Freaking" Korver!!!
I am not afraid to admit that I have a full on "man crush" on this dude! The guy is just a stud! He played his college ball in Omaha(where I grew up) at Creighton, so he's always been a favorite player of mine. Ever since the Jazz traded for him they are 15 and 2, and show no signs of slowing. Last night the first place(well before last night they were in first) New Orleans Hornets came to town and the Jazz destroyed them with a lot of help from Korver hitting 6 of 8 from 3 point range off the bench.
Don't sleep on the Jazz sneaking up and getting one of the top couple seeds in the Western Conference playoffs....
Till next time.......

Feeling Humble!
You were generals in the War in Heaven and one day when you are in the spirit world, you will be enthralled by those you are associated with. You will ask someone in which time period they lived and you might hear, "I was with Moses when he parted the Red Sea," or "I helped built the pyramids'" or "I fought with Captain Moroni." And as you are standing there in amazement, someone will turn to you and ask you which of the prophets' time did you live in? And when you say "Gordon B. Hinckley" a hush will fall over every hall and corridor in Heaven, and all in attendance will bow at your presence. You were held back six thousand years because you were the most talented, most obedient, most courageous, and most righteous. --- Elder Boyd K. Packer
There has never been another person on this earth that I've enjoyed listening to more than President Hinckley. The comfort I feel listening to his voice is unmatched by anything in this world except maybe my own mother. I can't wait to have the chance to meet him on the other side!
The world is a better place today becuase of this man!
He will be missed!
Virgin Blogger
I have no idea what I'm doing on here. Basically I'm just trying to get my first posting outta the way, so I'm not a blogging virgin anymore. I really hope I don't spell any words wrong on my very first blog!
Whew!
Now that that's over....check back later for an actual posting of some interest! (well....hopefully it's interesting, no promises though!)
Later!
